Sandra started her career as a children’s nurse when she entered the world of nursing at the age of 18.
She went on to complete both her general and psychiatric training and has enjoyed a career in care spanning more than 40 years.
During her many years of experience, Sandra has always had empathy for those who need a little extra support.
She is a keen advocate for the young and the elderly, which has led to her current senior management position supporting both these areas in her day-to-day work.
Sandra is a strong supporter of neurodivergence and has done a lot during her career to raise awareness of a range of conditions.
She also has considerable expertise in Dementia, palliative care, trauma and loss, and is passionate about all residents being able to access effective therapies that allow them to enjoy their lives.
